Call for post-doctoral positions PGMAT/UFF 2019-2

The Graduate Program in Mathematics (PGMAT-UFF) is accepting applications for one post-doctoral position in Mathematics, with a PNPD/CAPES fellowship starting from the 3rd of December 2019.
We are looking for candidates with a research track record, and who have obtained (or will obtain) his doctoral degree between the 1st of December 2014 until the 30th of November 2019.
The fellowship comprises a monthly stipend of R$ 4.100,00 together with additional funds for attending conferences and collaborating. This is a two-year position, with an initial offer for one year, and renewable for a further year subject to a favourable evaluation of the first year report. In exceptional circumstances, a second one year renewal may be granted.
The post-doc might be asked to teach courses at undergraduate or graduate level, depending on the seasonal demand. In this case, the teaching load will be at most one course per year.
